Water-loss reducer

AMPS-based polymers can be used at well-bottom temperatures ranging from 30 to 180°C, exhibit excellent fluid-loss control, and are suitable for cement slurries formulated with fresh water, seawater, and other types of drilling fluids. They demonstrate good compatibility with other admixtures, and the recommended dosage is 3%–6% by weight of cement (BWOC).

  • Product Description
  • Material Overview:

AMPS-based polymers can be used at well-bottom temperatures ranging from 30 to 180°C, exhibit excellent fluid-loss control, and are suitable for cement slurries formulated with fresh water, seawater, and other types of drilling fluids. They demonstrate good compatibility with other additives, and the recommended dosage is 3%–6% by weight of cement (BWOC).

    Mechanism of action:

    Ø Increase liquid viscosity

Ø Adsorbs onto the surface of cement particles, blocking internal pores and binding a large amount of free water.

Ø Forms a stable network structure that traps free water.
