The redispersible latex powder, upon redispersion, forms a film and acts as a secondary binder to enhance adhesion; the protective colloid is absorbed by the mortar matrix (and remains intact after film formation, or can be redispersed a second time); the film-forming polymer resin serves as a reinforcing agent, uniformly distributed throughout the mortar matrix, thereby increasing its cohesive strength.
