Plastic formwork is a new generation of green building materials with the development of China's plastics industry. With the official landing of the "Green Building Action Plan", in the process of rapid development of building formwork towards diversification and lightness, plastic formwork is the fourth generation of concrete formwork emerging after wood formwork, bamboo plywood formwork and steel formwork. Because of its "environmental protection, safety and recyclability" green building materials characteristics, it has quickly attracted the attention and favor of many building construction and template leasing enterprises.Plastic formwork products mainly include steel (aluminum) frame plastic formwork, engineering plastic formwork, GMT building formwork, hollow plastic formwork, plastic mold shell, decorative formwork (lining formwork), combined plastic formwork, etc., which can be widely used in construction of walls, floors, columns, etc. There are also special-shaped plastic templates processed into various shapes and surface patterns. The products have rich finishes and diverse shapes. The formed concrete has unique shapes and surface textures.With the rapid development of China's construction industry, the role of building templates in engineering construction is becoming more and more prominent. At present, plastic templates have been applied in construction projects in South China, North China, East China, Central China, Northwest China and other regions, and the response is strong.

The plastic template products used earlier in our country mainly include: stereotyped combined reinforced plastic template, strong plastic PP template, etc. At present, with the innovation and continuous development of template science and technology, the types of plastic template products in China are gradually diversified. Plastic template performance advantages and characteristics

The quality of the formwork and the speed of installation (disassembly) directly affect the quality of the project and the construction progress. Table 1 is a comparison of the performance indicators of several building templates.

Bamboo and wood formwork has less turnover. Plain wood and bamboo plywood formwork is generally used 3-5 times, with low resource utilization rate and serious waste. It is difficult to recycle abandoned formwork. A large amount of formwork accumulation will also affect the construction management progress. Steel formwork is used frequently, but the proportion of steel formwork is large, which is 6-8 times that of plastic formwork. Construction operation is difficult and maintenance cost is high after deformation, to a certain extent, slow down the progress of the project, extend the construction period, increase the construction cost.

Plastic formwork is a new type of green construction material in the 21st century, with excellent overall performance and the following advantages:

Plastic template high strength. Impact resistance, strong toughness, can be nailed can be sawn can be drilled, splicing tight;

Light weight. Less labor is required for installation and disassembly, and the construction progress is faster, which can reduce the cost of formwork;

The surface is smooth and clean. There is no need to use release agent, the surface cleaning is convenient, and the concrete surface quality can reach the effect of fair-faced concrete;

High turnover. The turnover of plastic formwork can reach more than 50 times, and it can be used hundreds of times with steel (aluminum) frame. The single use cost is low, and it can save about 50% compared with bamboo and wood glued formwork;

Environmental protection and no pollution. The abandoned template can be recycled by 100, and the secondary processing is made into finished template products with the same quality as the original template, which is energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
