Self-leveling gypsum is the abbreviation of self-leveling ground leveling gypsum, also known as gypsum-based self-leveling mortar, is a kind of dry powder mortar specially used for ground leveling, which is carefully configured and evenly mixed by gypsum material, special aggregate and various construction chemical additives in the factory. China's gypsum-based self-leveling began in the early 1990 s, limited by production costs, the scale has not grown. In recent years, related enterprises have used desulfurization gypsum and other industrial by-products to replace natural gypsum, greatly reducing production costs, and related technologies have become more mature. With the country vigorously promote the comprehensive utilization of industrial solid waste, gypsum-based self-leveling mortar has broad market prospects.
Gypsum-based self-leveling has many advantages:
① It is used as a "floor heating" leveling covering layer with good thermal insulation performance (compared with other heating methods, the energy saving range of floor heating is about 20%, and if zone temperature control device is adopted, the energy saving range can be as high as 40%); It will not crack and bulge due to thermal expansion and contraction like cement mortar layer. In addition, the hardened floor of gypsum-based self-leveling mortar has certain elasticity, and the feet feel warm and comfortable; and has a certain sound insulation effect. Gypsum-based self-leveling mortar is superior to traditional cement mortar in terms of strength stability and thermal stability, and is the preferred material for floor heating systems.
Under the same conditions, the shrinkage rate of cement-based self-leveling mortar is much higher than that of gypsum-based self-leveling mortar, and the high shrinkage value of cement-based self-leveling mortar is likely to lead to cracking of self-leveling mortar. However, the heat resistance of gypsum-based self-leveling at 50 ℃ is basically stable, and the shrinkage value of 28d and 194d and the flexural and compressive strength are almost the same, without hollowing and cracking;.
The porosity of the gypsum material itself can play a role in sound insulation. Gypsum-based self-leveling mortar has low density, which can reduce the bearing quality of buildings, and does not contain formaldehyde, casein, VOC and other harmful substances, no ammonia release, which has significantly improved the environmental protection standard of the whole decoration, and is a green and energy-saving product. Gypsum-based self-leveling mortar as a ground leveling layer has incomparable advantages over other materials. It is an important product to replace cement and reduce carbon emissions, and has social and economic benefits of energy saving and emission reduction.
Gypsum-based self-leveling construction speed is fast, can be pumped, self-leveling ground level is easy to meet the requirements of wood floor installation.

The problem of floor cracking has always been a common problem of building quality and is difficult to cure, especially in the north, where floor heating radiation is the main heating method, and the floor cracking makes developers miserable. Ground cracking problem, extremely common and difficult to cure, it is easy to cause the owner's complaints, developers to solve this problem to increase the more fine crack-resistant steel wire mesh, glass fiber mesh cloth, and even 6~7cm fine stone concrete construction in two times, these practices to a certain extent, reduce the occurrence of small cracks, but the possibility of radical cure is not great. In addition, the traditional fine stone concrete floor in the construction process, it is difficult to ensure the consistency of the four corners of the elevation, uneven ground lead to the owner to install wood flooring, but also need to do a side of self-leveling leveling, labor and money.
Under the background of full decoration, self-leveling wood floor is standard. In addition, after February 1, 2018, the "Evaluation Standard for Prefabricated Buildings" also lists full decoration as a mandatory option. In the future, a large number of hardcover houses will enter the market. The hardcover practice in hardcover decoration is already the standard practice delivered by developers at present. The hardcover practice has extremely strict requirements on the flatness of the floor. At present, cement mortar bedding can no longer meet the flatness requirements, self leveling practice is the standard practice of the current wooden floor cushion leveling.
